Job Description Summary

The Software Engineer II – PAM contributes to the design, development, modification, testing, adaption, and/or implementation and post implementation support of short- and long-term Privileged Access Management (PAM) software solutions to meet business and technology needs. This Software Engineer II will support applications strengthening our privileged access management and governance processes. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Works independently in a fast paced environment on more complex issues. The PAM Software Engineer II will work closely within our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Technology Operations team, and collaboratively within our PAM and IAM project teams. They will also partner with our IAM Business Operations team as well as with technology teams across our organization.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Provides software development services typically in a defined complex project(s)

  2. Conducts a wide range of complex quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements

  3. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Makes recommendations on process improvements

  4. Determines software design requirements

  5. Reviews software policies, standards and procedures and make recommendations for change.

  6. Leads users in the planning of user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing

  7. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow

  8. Manage environments, Implement/Deploy software upgrade to various environments and support post implementation.

  9. Creates Conceptual approach, Estimation, Detailed design, Software Deployment Guide,

    1. Supplemental or non-functional specification

  10. Develop custom workflows, rules and forms within PAM solutions, understand PAM policies and standards

  11. Mentors Associate Engineers

  12. Defines and documents software installation and configuration processes.

  13. Coordinates and communicates applications support activities with key stakeholders

  14. Performs other duties as assigned.


Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

 

Qualifications

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • May have practical knowledge of project management.

  • Requires 5 years minimum prior relevant experience.

  • Experience with PAM tools, CyberArk and DUO development and application support experience preferred
