A software engineering department is only as good as their tools and development environment. Your job is to make the department better. You'll lead our business unit to have AWS infrastructure to serve the development and verification effort. You will be part of a team that develops tools, defines methodologies and processes to support Intel's next-generation FPGA technology and products, and increases efficiency within and outside the group. The team is also responsible for competitive analysis, automation of design flows and significant data analysis. The team mainly develops in Python, Django and uses PostgreSQL databases.

You must be passionate about infrastructure and flows to increase productivity and help simplify the way people develop.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or

• Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 3 years of industry work experience, or

• PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, OR Physics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years AWS experience or equivalent

• 5 years using Python or Perl

• 2 years programming or maintaining databases

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years with UNIX/Linux platforms.
