Job Description

Module Software Solutions within Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) Department is seeking a software engineering intern to work on the next generation of Intel's test equipment software. The successful candidate will work on designing/developing software in Intel's test manufacturing facilities used to test all of Intel's processors.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Feature definition, development, and maintenance of Intel's High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) test equipment software.

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Cross-geo collaboration with engineering teams across Intel.

  • Participation as well as driving design and code reviews.

  • Finding opportunities to improve quality of the product and testing processes, bug fixes etc.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. 


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6+ months of experience.

  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design.

  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and communication skills.

  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures.

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and customers.

  • Handle diverse task analysis and troubleshooting.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of WPF and WCF

  • .Net Framework/.Net Core experience

  • Rest API experience

  • Designing and developing a distributed system

  • Experience in using some scripting languages, Python, batch, etc.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
