Xiaoice (小冰) is a popular AI chat bot released by Microsoft. Besides Chinese version, it has American (Zo), Japanese (凛菜), Indian (Ruuh) versions. Besides text, she also can see, hear, speak, sing and even telling stories for children. That is based on the advanced machine learning, artificial inteligence, big data and deep learning technologies of Microsoft, especially MSRA.
The Computer Vision & Graphics team of Xiaoice is responsible for creating her vision and figure. That is to put the advanced technologies of computer vision and graphics (such as image/video recognition, object detection/tracking, segmentation, face detection/recognition and 3D model animation/rendering etc.) into actual product.
Responsibilities
Develop the world-class neural network computing framework and realtime computer vision platform
Qualifications
- PhD/MS/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Rich experience in C/C++
- Solid algorithm knowledge, familiar with machine learning, etc.
- Familiar with compilers is a plus.
- Familiar with assembly is a plus.
- Has experience in CUDA/OpenCL is a plus.
- Has experience in deep neural network operator implementation is a plus.
- Passionate about the latest technologies in all computer science related areas, and able to learn new things and implement ideas very quickly.
- Good collaboration & communication capability
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
