As a software development engineer on the team you will be responsible for implementing features end to end. We use multiple technologies and frameworks - PowerShell, ASP.Net, .Net, and primarily code in C#. The distributed nature of the service, stateless nature of SMTP, criticality & ubiquity of email, new and exciting features we are bringing to market provide many interesting technical challenges to solve. Distributed computation, high-scale, high availability, geo-redundancy, low-touch are all aspects that our features need to be designed with in mind. You will be responsible for building the next generation world class spam filtering service focused around cutting edge performance and efficiency to handle the high volume of messages we process every day while still facilitating the highest level of effectiveness. It will involve aspects of machine learning and various content classification techniques.
Responsibilities
- 1-5 years of experience in developing & creating platforms and services.
- Strong proficiency in C#.
- Excellent design, coding, debugging and problem solving skills.
- Solid technical aptitude and take initiative, and must be result driven.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with at least one complete ship cycle of a commercial product
- A BS/MS in computer science or related field.
