:

There is an internship opportunity available with Boeing China Research & Technology department to be based 1 day in Boeing Beijing Office & 4 days in Boeing China Research & Technology partner office . The intern will support China Global Technology team to learn and implement Language Processing and Ground Inspection related research activities. During this internship, the student will get to acquire on knowledge of the aviation industry. Intern will work outside of Boeing office 4 days per week, and 1 day in Boeing office per week

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct general study for building a collaborative development platform
• Support current team research activities by conducting related software development
• Support current research projects’ related installation and testing work
• Related trainings will be provided to the intern

Competencies:

Fluent in both Chinese and English speaking, listening, reading and writing Strong sense of responsibility Strong Internet research skills and MS software skills Strong capability of self-learning and adaptability Good team work spirit, good communication skills Sufficient programming skills for development by using Java, Python, and/or C++. R is a plus. Experience with distributed version control and source code management solution (e.g. GitLab or GitHub) is a plus

Qualification and /or Experience requirement:

Current enrolled university students majoring in computer science or engineering or mathematics.
