For our site in Budapest, Hungary, we are looking for a Software Engineering Manager, who is technically and disciplinary managing a team of software engineers. Your task is to develop middleware technology helping our customers to validate their products. Duties and Responsibilities: Participating in the definition of the product roadmap and responsible for the realisation Responsible for the design, implementation and quality of the middleware Alignment with internally with teams Siemens teams globally disciplinary lead of the team in Hungary Ensure that worldwide projects within the team are developed in time, in budget and according to given quality standards Close cooperation with management team to ensure that team planning, and resource assignment meets the project requirements and timelines Participation in quotation processes in close cooperation with the business lines and sales What you’ll bring Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or electronics and communication engineering or in a related subject area or any equivalent experience In-depth knowledge and proven practical experience in software engineering Proficient in both C and C++ programming and object-oriented design concepts Strong Expertise in Middleware/Application design, development and integration Ability to work in an exciting environment, guide team members, good customer interpersonal skills Several years of experience in a comparable position in embedded systems, ideally automotive software or related other industry Strong leadership, communication, presentation and social skills Strong teammate with good spoken and written communication skills in English Preferred but not a must-have: Experience in innovative embedded systems Cloud Technology Experience in ROS2 Join our Digital World We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
