The Intel Software Development Emulator is a platform for SW developers to explore future architectures at near-native run speeds. SDE allows SW developers to run their applications, compiled for future CPUs, on top of existing CPUs. SDE provides the user with innate program analysis tools for profiling and tuning their applications running on top of the emulator. SDE also includes record and deterministic replay capabilities that further enhance the analysis and debug experience. SDE is one of the most prominent tools used for architectural studies. It is widely used within Intel throughout the entire product lifecycle, from pathfinding of new architecture features to SW enabling and tuning. SDE is also used by many companies for preparing their SW prior to Intel CPU launch. More information on SDE can be found here.
The SDE team is looking for a new manager to take the team to the next level. The role will include both people management responsibilities, as well as deep, hands-on technical work. The ideal candidate is an experienced manager, passionate about making a difference at a global scale, with excellent people skills and super-strong technical capacity.

Qualifications

• Strong SW professional, with a good understanding of SW development methodologies, engineering tradeoffs, and prioritization
• Strong SW professional with at least 15 years of experience working on complex SW projects, developing in C, C++, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience managing SW teams
• Great interpersonal skills, with the ability and desire to create and uphold a large, productive professional network
• Ability to learn fast, move fast and adapt
