We currently have an exciting new opening for a Software Operations Manager who will join our highly successful and growing team. As the Software Operations Manager you will define and monitor the primary operational activities within CIP global team. You will assist leadership in defining and executing the organization strategy across multiple program portfolios. You will establish and track the primary operational, product delivery and quality goals – including definition of KPIs and dashboards to establish success measures for software product development and delivery, financial tracking and resource management. You will be responsible to co-ordinate the operational governance of our diverse project portfolio, including review meetings and follow up. You will support our communication to key stakeholders including customers, senior executive leaders, investors and board meetings. You will also coordinate with our internal team, including HR and program leaders, to drive resource planning – including hiring, tracking allocation of resource to programs and resulting outcomes. Your main responsibilities: Oversight and management of OKR's and KPI metrics & dashboard, including product development, quality, resource management and customer delivery metrics Facilitate our program governance meetings and forums to solve critical business challenges and track resulting commitments and actions Manage Research and development funding applications and submissions across national and international bodies Coordinate with financial partners to support annual budget planning and reviews Produce ad-hoc metrics data/materials to support communication to our broad suite of stakeholders, including customers, investors, sales teams and senior executives – including board meetings Work with Portfolio Managers to verifiably improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, generating a positive return on investment for the business Coordinate with HR on recruitment, onboarding and co-ordination of people related data. This includes coordinating of hires and job descriptions, validating employee onboarding and ensuring the quality of HR data such as job entry/exit, vacation, probation and related financial/payroll tracking Develop strategies to maintain and improve the effectiveness of our communications – internally and externally Work with our software development teams to establish meaningful metrics and KPIs to monitor the quality and efficiency of our engineering execution Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Degree in a technology or business related field Extensive experience in program/project management or operations management role, with elements of financial planning, modelling and cost analysis Experience in a Software Industry, Data Science experience would be a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in the communication and visualization of relevant data and KPIs.
