Therefore, we are looking for Software Presales Managers to be part of this great adventure! They will contribute to the Bright layer success through identifying, convincing, onboarding and supporting IT partners in their Bright layer inclusion in their portfolio. Bright layer is designed to help manage, monitor and control devices along with management of key resources such as power, space and IT Infrastructure in our customer computing environments (with a particular focus on data center as well as commercial and industrial buildings). Your main responsibilities: To increase the software sales through IT partners, the software presales manager performs the below critical tasks: Manage and support local sales organizations in choosing the optimal local product portfolio / partners out of the total Brightlayer suite in conjunction with the Partner Network Manager and the Services organization. Present and demonstrate Eaton Software products and certification program to identified partners and help them quantify the return on investment they can get from it. Support partners in their sales opportunities to assure Brightlayer products are properly explained and dimensioned. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Eaton Software partner strategy by identifying partners and customer needs (features, trainings, tools, support documents...) and working with appropriate internal people to implement them. Innovate, bring fresh ideas, we'll listen to you! Consolidate local market input including local competitive landscape, features, pricing information as well general market trends and share the input with the specified audience. Qualifications Qualifications: University Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge. MBA is a plus. Minimum 4 years’ experience in presales, sales, business development or another relevant role. Experience in IT project management or development related to infrastructure or virtualization solutions. IT Networking skills: Understanding of following protocols: SNMP (V1/V3), IP V4/V6, SSL, http, XML Operating Systems / Virtualization: Advance user of Microsoft Windows 2003/XP/Vista/2008/7/8, Ubuntu, Linux RHEL / Suse, VMware, Vcenter ESX/ESXi , Microsoft Hyper-V, Xen Citrix, RedHat At least basic knowledge or willingness to learn on power electronics. Ability to take initiatives and drive them autonomously, strongly customer and results oriented. Comfortable doing presentations, demonstrations, and trainings. Ability to think and act strategically.
