We are looking for a Product Validation Architect with hands on experience in implementing test automation solutions in an agile DevOps environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting an Automated framework for product validation using industry DevOps tools and developing test framework with the product validation team. The candidate will be expected to effectively lead, monitor, and improve test automation framework creation and automated tests roadmap.
Creates a global blueprint that defines the test infrastructure for software development, including enumeration of structural elements and how they work together, automation entry and exit points, use cases, and service metrics required to meet the needs of their customers. Studies business goals and work practices as required to tailor architecture plans to fit operations. Ensures new test infrastructure will be compatible with current and future business needs as well as in line with industry best practices and trends. Ensures test infrastructure fits the established architecture, infrastructure, and security systems within the company. Specializes in build and release, test automation, or telemetry.

The position of Product Validation Architect will have the following responsibilities
The subject matter expert in the automated testing areas
Identifying and recommending the automated testing processes and tools
Define and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing
Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation across product validation team.
Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework and approach across project teams
Oversee technological execution of the recommended automation solution roadmap
Evaluate and select the best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
Assist engineering teams with the technical presentation of proposed automation solutions
Assist in oneAPI releases for product validation.
Oversees and ensures timely software releases with shortened product validation cycle with emphasis on automated tests.
Sets nightly builds, static and binary code analysis, and oversees proper packaging of new software version releases. Requires deep knowledge of software configuration management, CI CD systems, and discipline in managing infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience
At least 8-10 years of relevant testing experience
Adept at carving out, architecting testing solutions, creating value differentiators
In-depth knowledge of Platforms like Windows, UNIX, Mac
Good consulting, communication, convincing, presentation skills and Negotiation Skills
In-depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Test Project management
Must have an expert level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes
Hands-on QA Automation experience with proven abilities to design, construct, customize and maintain hybrid Test automation frameworks
An expert on DevOps test tools and understanding of scripting languages, and databases.
