Philips Oral HealthCare I&D Product Development Embedded Systems Team is seeking a mobile app software lead. The team is expanding into this area and is looking for someone who can help guide the company as we move in this direction. This position will support the development of new technologies for I&D with prototypes as well as helping with the development of consumer facing mobile apps for our products. This position will also provide input into the user experience along with other groups in the company.

This position should be capable of architecting, designing, documenting, and implementing high quality software for mobile apps on multiple connected platforms across multiple product ranges and on different operating systems.

This position will also be responsible for but not limited to the following activities:

• Document, manage, and help to define/obtain/refine requirements, design docs, design reviews and verification procedures

• Help establish consistent ways of working with respect globally dispersed teams.

• Prototyping of desired app features

• Working with firmware group to ensure compatibility between handheld devices and mobile app.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, EE or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience building commercial consumer-facing mobile apps with iOS and/or Android

• 5+ years of experience building mobile apps that work with connected devices

• 5+ years of experience building mobile apps that interface with cloud backends
