The majority of time spent in this position is in managing projects. Responsible for the management and delivery of large business or technical projects, and the planning and coordinating of large programs or releases within the established timeframe from initiation through delivery on schedule and within budget. Serves as liaisons between technical and non technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. The project may have vague dependencies on other areas/projects which need to be investigated and defined. Interacts with project sponsor. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Responsible to lead project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget through effective management of the project scope, budget, plan, resource, issues, and deliverables. Works without supervision on highly complex projects with latitude for independent judgment. Extensive knowledge of the field. Assist with less experienced peers.
