wireless connectivity solutions for OEM devices in automotive, telematics, fleet management, smart metering, asset

tracking, handheld devices, infotainment, and industrial process control and security systems. Demand for wireless

M2M connected devices is being driven by the Internet of Things and our aim is to help make this technology widely

available, cost effective and compatible across platforms in different industry sectors for our clients. The Shenzhen

Regional Design Centre houses the Engineering Design for all TT IoT Solutions businesses.

Background

competencies that wants to join us on this journey. TT IoT group is evolving as a technology leader in connectivity and

our customers are mainly represented in EU and US and in the following Internet of Things sectors: Automotive,

Smart homes, Medical/wearable and industrial/infrastructure. You will be a part of a larger team including hardware,

firmware, mechanical and antenna designers.

The Candidate

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to the team in Shenzhen. As a Software

QA Engineer at TT Electronics Shenzhen, you will play an important role in the work to develop and maintain the

Quality Assurance process for our IoT products. You will operate in small, medium or large customer projects with a

global footprint.

As the Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and test automation of HW and SW, such as

functional and non-functional testing (performance, usability), test technology and test automation control systems.

This to ensure better quality of our HW and SW to create better customer value. You will also manage revisions of the

HW and SW design in the projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Software design knowledge, as well as quality

assurance process, of wireless consumer, industrial or electronic products, and have good knowledge of supporting

products fundamentals. They have likely worked for a global design and manufacturing company in the wireless

and/or connectivity field. Together with customers, we develop products of the future and push boundaries of what’s

possible. This role will report to Engineering & Business Development Manager APAC. There will be opportunity for

this role to travel to European design centres for training and introductions.

The role & Responsibility

• Develop and maintain the Quality Assurance process.
• Plan, design, code, execute and evaluate test scenarios.
• Setting up the test framework (plan & strategy) in each project.
• Examine and proofing of code generated by the team.
• Solving concurrency problems that may occur.
• Create and managing error reports.
• Develop test-scripts (Functional, Integration and System tests) in order to find errors at an early

stage in the project development.

• Build key relationships with the customer and the wider commercial team.
• Ensure compliance with Group Operating Rules.
• Support the Operational and Commercial teams on standard reports and any adhoc projects as and

when required.

• Adhoc projects covering a wide range of areas.

The person

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering)
• Strong experience in embedded SW development (Architecture, coding and debugging)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hands-on implementation and execution of automated and manual test

strategies within various technical and functional contexts

• Experience with hardware systems & designs for wireless products
• You have strong experience of wireless consumer, industrial or electronic products
• Hands on and familiar with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, Multi-meter etc.)
• Strong English skills CET 6 (spoken & written)
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach
• Good communication/teamwork skills
• Good / Confident presentation skills
• Ambitious, passionate and willing to take initiatives to develop yourself and the company
