As a Software QA Technician, you will be responsible for thorough testing of applications and software solutions and focus on overall user experience.

 

On a given day, your work might include:

• Performing software usability testing and provide feedback
• Being attentive to all aspects of software user experience
• Being able to come up with own ideas for better software QA tests
• Applying critical thinking to identify high-level data trends
• Following outlined processes to achieve predictable outcomes
• Analyzing information and issues to bring them to resolution through web-research, data analysis, and critical thinking

       

Candidates must:

• Be eligible to work in Ireland
• Have native speaker fluency or advanced level of English language
• Be willing to work onsite and on a full-time basis in Cork, Ireland

 

 An ideal Software QA Technician would be: 

• Detail-oriented
• Passionate about IT and familiar with iOS and macOS
• Able to work with large datasets, identify patterns and trends and draw conclusions to recommend actions
• Skilled at web-research and web-based maps applications
• Comfortable working independently, as well as in small and large cross-functional teams

 

It would be great if you have:

• Experience with spreadsheets
• Experience with database systems
• Familiarity with basic GIS concepts
• Familiarity with web-based map applications
• Experience in data analysis  
• Experience with social media sites
• University Degree in IT or Business Analysis desired; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
