The Developer Environment Software Engineering team within Intel's Developer Software Engineering group is an organization focused on delivering utilities, IDE plugins, environment configuration scripts and other software that simplifies the use of the oneAPI software ecosystem on complex, heterogeneous compute platforms. We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance engineer who has the unique skills to insure our software is functionally complete and robust enough for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Candidate should have good experience in Utility/IDE extension QA testing (automation and manual testing as needed) methodology. Candidate should be flexible to work on different aspects of developer environment tools testing, starting from an existing testing mechanism, looking for ways to expand testing. Good in written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-organizational communication are key.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with software engineering development processes and associated tools - bug tracking (Jira), continuous integration (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) and source control (Git) systems
• Experience in software testing / quality assurance and test automation
• Understanding development process in - Visual Studio Code and Eclipse IDEs
• Intermediate level of English (written and verbal) or better
• The following skills are an additional advantage:
• Basic understanding if JavaScript/Typescript, Python or Bash
• Good experience in Linux and Windows operating systems, knowledge of MacOS
• Knowledge of testing frameworks - PyTest, Robot Framework
