Asset Servicing:
BNY Mellon Asset Servicing provides global solutions tailored to meet our clients’ unique needs to help enhance the management, administration and oversight of their entire investment process and deliver the tools they need to expand their ability to process, monitor and measure investment data from around the world.
We are seeking highly-motivated Software Quality Engineers at all levels with the ability to work on multiple projects independently and as part of a project team. You have a strong QE background mixed with Software Development skills to lead the test automation and quality practices. This person will be an integral part of the development team, leading quality test planning, defining and writing automated tests, while using agile testing methodologies.
Actions and Results:
Maintain regression tests for allocated feature areas
Identify, log and track defects
Assist in associating defects with application behavior
Analyze defects reported from technical support and assist in replicating
Collaborate and assert preventive quality measurements early in development stages
Evaluate, build or request test tools/framework changes
Provide estimates, reporting and tracking for team’s test deliverables
Skills and Experience: Required
Experience testing Web Services (Authentication, CRUD, Negative scenarios)
Experience developing automated tests within a test automation framework
Familiarity with Java, .Net, or some other object-oriented programming language
Familiarity with SQL and working knowledge of relational database technologies
Previous test case development, test planning and execution experience
Experience with RESTful Web technologies: Oauth, XML, JSON, Serialization
Hands-on experience working in agile software delivery teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven success in performing effective QE testing within project timeline and/or resource constraints
Desired
Experience with RESTful APIs
Experience with SaaS scalable technologies
Experience delivering quality on a CD pipeline
Experience with queuing technologies, RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, IBM MQ or MSMQ
Experience in the financial services industry a big plus
