Software Security Consultant will use their knowledge and expertise to evaluate security threats to Polarion ALM system and will actively create and implement measures to prevent such issues in the future. A candidate should have at least 3 years of experience with software security. They should be able to validate security issues in wide range of forms, being it server-side, client-side or in cloud. We are looking for a highly motivated individual able to work independently in an Agile environment who are willing to come forward with their own ideas on how to improve the security of our technological solution. Responsibilities: Evaluate new security issues potentially affecting our products Manage processes around identification of new security issues incl. triage and penetration testing Work closely with development teams on fixing security issues Educate development teams on secure coding practices Handle communication with stakeholders (Security Office, Quality Manager etc.) Required: 3+ years of experience of SW development with focus on security or as a penetration tester or in a similar software security consulting role Proficient usage of English Excellent oral and written communication skills Advantage: Knowledge of Java Knowledge of web app scanners (e.g. OWASP ZAP) Knowledge of security certifications, assessments and standards Computer security or secure software development certification Experience with security of cloud deployments Previous experience with Agile development and/or testing Why Siemens Polarion?
