In this position, you’ll be part of a team working to secure our software products with a big focus on system software. But Intel’s software catalog covers all the SW stack, so there’s something for you for sure. You’ll be writing new tools to reach where no current commercial tools can. Product teams will come to you as an expert so that you can enable and guide them to improve the security of their product. The team works across organizations within Intel. We expect you to contribute to open-source tools, to present at conferences, to teach about all the goodness that fuzzing can achieve.
Qualifications
- Experience in system software fuzzing tools, like kAFL or Syzkaller.
- Good understanding of other fuzzing tools like AFL++/LibAFL, libfuzzer, etc.
- Good knowledge of OS and hypervisor internals (Linux, Windows, Xen, Hyper-V, ACRN, etc).
- Some experience with Intel Linux drivers (for example, Intel Graphics Drivers).
- Good understanding of x86 architecture.
- Some industry experience in penetration testing.
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Rust, assembly.
- Great understanding of development processes focused on maintainability using CI and automated tools (Jenkins, GitHub actions, Sphinx, Read the Docs, etc).
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 4+ years of industry experience.
OR
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum with 3+ years of industry experience.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
