The Security Center of Excellence is a team tasked with delivering Confidential Computing technologies and services. We're dedicated to delivering fantastic developer experience with Intel security products.
We are looking for a technical writer to create, deliver, and maintain content that meets business objectives, user needs, and user learning goals. Our ideal candidate uses current software development tools, processes, and practices at all levels of a solution stack to turn ambiguous technical language and complex processes into content that is easy for users to understand.
In this job, you will apply user-centered methodologies to define, create, and publish necessary content. You will put your technical know-how and "can do" demeanor to work in an ambitious, cross-disciplinary team. You will combine your technical skills with creativity to consider different technical and business approaches that will solve challenging problems.
Job responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Brainstorm with engineers to distill and extract key messages from a rough draft. Create clear, concise, user-friendly deliverables, such as getting started guides, installation guides, tutorials, and release notes. Provide graphics, video, and other creative services appropriate for the audience.
Work with content designers and information architects to:
Develop material that supports a user's content needs and learning goals.
Implement an information architecture that makes content easy to find, easy to use, and easy to understand.
Implement and maintain web based collateral portals including on the internet and Intel Developer Zone.
Publish solutions and content so that they are available to end customers via 3rd party software marketplaces and repositories.
Validate content for technical accuracy and completeness.
Hands-on tasks might include:
Set up and maintain a test environment.
Set up and configure hardware, such as boards, adapters, and add-in cards.
Install and configure firmware and software for internal and external testing and validation.
Qualifications
3+ years of technical writing or instructional design experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Information Management, Technical Writing, Communication, other).
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
Solid analytical and logical problem-solving skills, paired with creativity.
Solid understanding of user experience and interaction patterns.
Willingness to take calculated risks and stretch to achieve ambitious goals.
High tolerance for a dynamic work environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$76,540.00-$114,740.00

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
