In this position, you will be responsible for defining and implementing product documentation strategy for Intel software products in a fast-paced international team environment. As a content developer, you will work with subject matter experts and UX researchers to develop a product content strategy by understanding product workflows and customer journeys. You will determine appropriate format, structure, syntax, and style while adhering to legal guidelines. In addition to excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills, this position requires an ability to understand and contribute to a highly complex and technical software product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, English, journalism, communications, technical writing/communications, or a related field.
• Applicants with non-technical degree must demonstrate strong technical experience, competence, and aptitude.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and review skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, international team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated open source or inner source contribution skills.

• Familiarity with DITA XML-based publishing and experience publishing to the web from DITA source.
• Competency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript or knowledge of C/C++ or Fortran programming languages.
• Publishing experience with content management systems such as Drupal or Adobe Experience Manager
• Experience using GitHub, markdown, Sphinx, and ReStructured Text markup
