Join Siemens Healthineers Syngo Dynamics team as a Test Architect for: Cardiology image review and reporting software Siemens Medical Solutions, SYNGO R&D US Cardiology Team, has an opening for a Test Architect in the area of cardiology image reading and reporting software. The cardiology team delivers trend-setting cardiology software applications for medical image analysis and reporting used worldwide by cardiologists and other medical professionals. Our successful syngo Dynamics product line is in use at 4 of the top 5 cardiology hospitals in the US as ranked by the recent US News & world report. http://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/rankings/cardiology-and-heart-surgery The Software test architect plays an integral part in the product lifecycle and testing strategy, providing input to the design, as well as development of tests for the syngo Dynamics products. Responsibilities Drives the organization towards DevOps Analyzes the testing process and practices and drive improvements. Contributes to defining testability requirements. Fosters the use of test-driven approaches in requirements engineering. Ensures that testability requirements are incorporated into product design. Provides testing infrastructure requirements. Identifies and manages technical risks for the testing environment. Drives integration of testing infrastructure with the System Under Test. Guides and coaches’ system and software architects and development teams in testing related topics. Fosters the use of test automation and test-driven approaches in development. Help define and implement an effective test strategy, aligned with the business and quality goals. Measure, control, and continuously optimize coverage and degree of test automation. Define and maintains an effective and efficient test architecture in close cooperation with system integration and test managers. Ensures quality of the test code. Guides and coach test professionals in advanced testing issues. Manages the internal quality of the whole testing environment. Experience/Skills · The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator – both verbal and written. · Candidate must have experience in Unit, Integration, System, and Acceptance testing as well as a broader understanding of software engineering concepts and alternative methodologies. · Expertise in C, C++, C#, .Net, SQL, HTML5, Java · Ability to work in a collocated agile team and/or lab environment as well as remotely. · Ability to collaborate across teams and functions. · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple efforts in parallel. · Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills · Experience in DICOM, HL7 and medical imaging is a plus · Prior Healthcare IT, clinical, or healthcare quality experience is preferred. · Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS/ Azure DevOps) · Minimum 7+ years of successful experience Education · BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
