The Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) is chartered with delivering high performance computing (HPC) and graphics solutions (IP, Software, Systems), for both integrated and discrete segments across client, data center and edge computing. The AXG Custom Compute (XCC) business vertical, is focused on differentiating solutions with the goal of addressing the custom silicon/platform needs to our customers. We are looking for a Software Engineer. The responsibilities will be as follows:
� Creation of test strategy, defining validation architecture and planning of test execution environment for platform level validation activities on integrated software for discrete graphics area
� Defining test execution environment in manual mode or using automated frameworks
� Test case automation using scripting language like Python/Java script
� Test execution in manual mode or using automated frameworks
� Result analysis and isolation of issues to various software components in the integrated software environment, working with software developers and component validation teams
� Defect logging with adequate information at defined database projects
� Test reporting with test execution summary, defect details and test result summary
� Knowledge of Devops and CI/CD is big plus

Qualifications

� Overall industry experience of 14-18 years with Bachelor/Masters degree Engineering in Computer science or Electronics
� Hands-on experience as system level validation architect for Linux graphics based data center solutions
� Working knowledge about different Linux distros (Ubuntu, RedHat etc.) and exposure to validation in AI, Media and compute solutions
� Hands-on experience in validating integration software solutions for Linux graphics solutions. Experience in running manual or automated tests on local or remote test setups involving various HW components
� Sound understanding on boot sequences, SW and HW interactions and use-case flows for integrated software solutions
� Good interpersonal skills to deal with different stakeholders from component software, program management areas
� Ability to create test plans and test strategy for end to end functional, performance validation areas
� Excellent debug and analytical skills for triage and root-causing of issues in integrated software solutions
� Working knowledge in scripting languages like python and Perl
� Training and mentorship skills to enable team members on technical aspects
� Ability to work in a team spread across geographical areas
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
