At Intel, VTG, our architecture group defines the architecture for vision systems. It is our job to see the whole picture.
Our performance modeling and analysis team within the architecture group ensures reality meets specifications, specifically for all key performance indicators.
Our team impacts the actual hardware design during the architecture exploration phase by checking alternatives and closing the loop with architects and other involved teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop transaction level based models, knowledge in SystemC/TLM is an advantage.
- Integration of individual models into a system, being able to see the full, higher-level picture.
- Develop unit and integration tests for models and their infrastructure.
- Develop infrastructure for running, testing, analyzing, collecting results in Perl/Python/Shell/etc.
- Analyze data collected, find issues that impact the architecture and resolve them
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Excellent software development skills - Fluency in C++, Python is a must
- Hardware microarchitecture understanding at all levels - system, IP, unit, protocols and flows.
- Modeling understanding, experience is an advantage - knowing to focus on what's important.
- Being able to analyze data collected, find issues that impact the architecture and resolve them.
What are we looking for?
- BSc and above degree in computers/hardware engineering
- Important to have vast knowledge in both SW and HW.
- 3 years of proven experience in hardware/software development
- Knowledge in hardware architecture
- Deep knowledge of software design, development and testing, specifically in multi-threading and parallel computing.
- Strong C/C++ coding skills
- Experience in SystemC/TLM modeling - advantage.
- System debugging skills
- Experience in scripting languages preferably Python, Perl, Shell.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills - mutual trust, open communication
- Excellent team work capabilities - collaboration, sharing of information, learning and mentoring
