* About the Position - Design and implement software of complex shipbuilding business processes in PLM area. - Play a key role in application design and implementation of product software focusing on surpassing customer expectations and achieving high quality and on-time delivery. - Understand complex products, solutions, and issues. - Create, document, and execute software designs which may involve customization of OotB systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impact solutions. - Consult with customers about future upgrades and products. - Influence the technical direction decisions in your product area. - Promote innovation through the ability to introduce new technology/knowledge in your product area and within the development team. - Provide high-level technical expertise, performing in-depth programming and analysis tasks in complex software systems. - Provide problem resolution and technical advisory for the group. - Possess a wide knowledge of internal operating systems, application implications and customer areas. - Lead and guide a team of junior engineers. - Work on highly complex projects with certain degree for independent judgment and technical expertise. - Have extensive knowledge of the field. * What are my responsibilities? 1. Essential Functions - Design and implement software programming for products. - Provide innovative solutions to problems in your acknowledged expertise area. - Implement code, code reviews, and software integration. - Maintain and support current software tools. - Gather requirements from users. - Implement new functionality. - Ensure that resultant deliverable is consistent with design. - Ensure that appropriate code reviews and unit tests are performed. - Communicate and consult with other developers and customers. - Review designs and/or implementations of other projects as required. - Manages projects including the definition of scope, plan, schedule, and deliverables. - Maintain updated technical expertise, following advances in industry and academia. - Perform research to determine possible technical solutions to long-term. - Proactively communicates status of all projects, tools, and environments. - Develop new ideas. 2. Skills and Abilities Required - Extensive knowledge of 1) C++, Java 2) Applications integration. 3) Hardware and operating environment. 4) Production support skills. - Ability to communicate in English complex technical concepts, clearly and effectively. - Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously. 3. Education and Experience Requirement - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent - 8+ years of service 4. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management - Develop and maintain effective relationships with external customers 1) Being recognized by the customers as a trusted advisor, establishing and maintaining effective relationships. 2) Building new relationships and networking with the customer and other parties to support effective use and increased consumption of our products. - Engage with existing customers and prospects to understand their needs and high-level requirements for our solutions. * Job Requirements - At least 8-year experience in similar position and/or in the field of CAD applications. - Industrial experiences in Shipbuilding. - Good communication to both internal and external stakeholders. - Excellent team player. - Excellent communication in English (written and spoken). * 근무지 - 부산 Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software Ltd.
