The candidate will be part of the Connectivity group within Intel. More specifically in the group responsible for developing software related to the Ethernet switches. In this position, candidate will work on the Application Programming Interface (API) being developed to manage and configure the Ethernet switch products.

Responsibilities in this role will be but not limited to:

• Implement new software features required to support customer use cases

• Add tests to the test suites used to validate the Application Programming Interface (API)

• Develop sample codes representing expected/standard use cases

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Length of internship is for 15 weeks for summer 2022.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and it will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline.

3+ months of experience in the following areas:

• Expertise in C

• Embedded software development

• Developing embedded systems

• Experience in networking and with Ethernet and TCP/IP more precisely

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ months of experience in the following areas:

• Perl and/or Python

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)
