Sr. Manager– Product Engineering – Software

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Function as a team leader on internal firmware development projects. Be responsible of firmware architecture on Kitchen & Bath automation devices controller.

2. Function as a project leader on software ODM projects. Be responsible of ODM partner development and management.

3. In charge of software and firmware strategic roadmap and development plan. Implement software management process in new product development to manage software design quality and delivery.

4. Consistently develops and applies advanced theories, methods to new developing products. Provide timely technical solutions to projects. Coach the team on development methodology and provide design guidance.

5. Administratively responsible for the software team developing and new engineers recruiting. Provides technical direction and coordinates the efforts of engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.

6. Establish and maintain partnership with cross function team and 3rd party developers.

7. Continuously develop and grow the software team to meet the target of global software development center of company.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Organizational Relationships

1. Direct report to Engineering Center Head

2. Contact with other departments and global partners.

1. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering or Industry Automation;
2. With 10+ years of automation firmware experience in new product development,
3. With 2 + years of Experience on project leader or team leader.
4. Familiar with CMM software management process.
5. Ability to work in integrated teams with a focus on forward-looking, optimistic, Pro-actively and ready to work under pressure.
6. Good speaking and writing skills in both Chinese and English to effectively convey information, express opinions, and motivate others to act.
