Data Insights and Advanced Analytics Team is the center of competence for providing internal Data Science Services and the necessary IT structure to implement advanced analytics into business operation. Data Solution Architect is responsible to build data model based on business insights and technique view upon Data Lake, Daimler applications and service landscape to achieve flexible and scalable architecture, and will closely work with business, data analyst, data engineer and data scientist to design solution options, validation concept and roadmap.
Responsibility
- Learn the DB model and system logic of data source, drive knowledgebase and data catalog building. (LDBM, DB model, features).
- Understand the requirement and calculation of BU and other IT key users. (Business scenario, Number of user, Time efficiency …).
- Responsible for the multiple layer OLAP model design of warehouse.
- Responsible for the ETL logic design and chose suitable tool and framework to develop ETL process. (Update strategy, ETL tool,  logging).
- Design and develop framework to control and monitor data quality.
- Monitor resource usage of database and work with datalake team to plan resource in future.
- Work together report/ETL developer/Data Scientist to avoid anti-pattern in application scripts, improve quality and performance of reporting scripts.
