Requirements Engineering, Specification and Solution Design:

- For new systems/enhancements without vendor support, gather and understand the functional and non-functional requirement from the project team / application owner team / BU, and provide high level solution design regarding:

- Technical feasibility and solution for the new requirement in line with Enterprise Architecture principles

- Integration / interface design if the requirement need to cover multiple systems

- Pros and cons and recommendation if there are multiple solutions to fulfill the requirement

- If there is vendor support, then support in the technical part of the RFP composing and vendor selection evaluation, guide the vendor to understand the functional/non-functional requirements, and approve the solution provided by the vendor based on Enterprise Architecture principles  

Solution Quality Assurance:

- Guide the development team in the implementation phase, to make sure the original design is properly implemented

- Ensure the solution architecture aligns with the strategic roadmap

- Support the definition of the non-functional requirements and review test results

- Lead the technical integration in the landscape for the assigned projects
- Enterprise Architecture Management. Adhere the architecture principles and guidelines in the solution design 
- Develop patterns and guidance to become reusable in a broader enterprise architecture 
- Developing Services Orientated Architectures (SOA) & Microservices architecture
Technology Management: 

- Follow the latest trends & best practice and derive possible use cases

- Drive setup of PoC for new technology in collaboration with Infrastructure team

- Maintain Landscape repository and manage the technology lifecycle for assigned applications

- Define standard architecture framework/toolkits to include in technology roadmap 
Other Tasks:

- Support operations on executing big changes

- Strong collaboration with Business units and Stakeholder

- Build Domain knowledge of the business area

- Know-How transfer within the own team and close collaboration with infrastructure architects
