Possess very good know how of Paper Process such as Paper Machine and Rewinder with Sectional Drive Control System and the PLC/SCADA system. Knowhow of Step-7 PLC based automation system, WinCC (SCADA) and PCS-7 (DCS) along with software development and commissioning skills. Willing to travel 50-60% time. Keep building relationships and networking with key players in customers. Always ensuring highest quality of the engineering. Self-reflection and self-verification of the work done. Hardware engineering using SIEMENS engineering tools. Target focused delivering the engineering and Commissioning in time according to project schedule. Support to Sales & Proposal for offer making of Automation & Drive solutions. Carry out technical trainings in customer premises for commissioned and Delivered products Give constructive feedback to sales and service operations to increase process quality and customer satisfaction. What you need to make real what matters? You are a graduate/postgraduate in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/ Instrumentation engineering with 10-12 years’ experience. Working knowledge of Low Voltage and/or Medium Voltage Drive systems – commissioning, system tuning and programming Good understanding of Electric Low Voltage Motors Ability to select electrical control components for drive & PLC systems, achieve cost targets and functional and/or system performance objectives Ability to read schematics and interpret customer specifications and industry standards Possess a familiarity with and follow all engineering policies and procedures, and validation methods Must be able to interface with customers and vendors to resolve technical issues or work on new developments Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot Process and field issues. You are willing and able to travel (50-60% of your time) Ability to effectively communicate technical topics/issues to a non-technical audience This role is for Chennai/Mumbai, but you’ll also get to visit other locations globally and domestic as well, as per business requirements, so you’ll need to go where this journey takes you.
