You are part of the IT Marketing & Sales department in China; as a senior solution architect of the IT Sales team you will design and be responsible for the delivery of IT solutions for Mercedes-Benz sales planning, sales management, stock/order management and wholesale business. You advise our business partners in BMBS as well as Daimler HQ on the basis of Enterprise and Service Architecture standards.
Work area scope including (but not limited to):
- Technical and DevOps lead for VPC (paperless vehicle preparation center) project – ensure a continuous smooth software delivery given increasing business demands and pipeline. Evaluate and steer short/mid-term technical enhancements (e.g. move to cloud, servicelization, etc.)
- Key solution architect for VerSO – working together with the Daimler China architecture team to assess the current BMBS IT landscape for the digital transformation of Sales Operations in China. Develop roadmap for system re-architecture, required integration, etc. in preparation for Model-D and future sales business models
- Project Manager for ongoing BMBS systems
