As Solution Architect for Digital Software & Automations - Electrical Utilities, your goal is to drive pre-sales efforts in promoting, architecting and applying relevant digital, software and hardware technology content in assistance to Sales Engineers for Utility and Large industrial. You will lead customer facing technical interventions and establish a trusted advisor relationship with decision makers and internal stakeholders towards meeting Eaton revenue goals with the EMEA region. Your key deliverables: Participate in pre-sales process to understand customer business, technical objectives and project requirements. Assist Sales Engineers in promoting digital Software & automation solutions within Utility and Large industrial accounts. Understands the customer pain points and actively engages them for technical needs. Collaborates with internal, product management/support, commercial sales teams and partners to engage strategic customer tin applying Eaton solutions and writes content for technical and commercial proposals. Evaluates project/opportunity risk and constraints and proposes relevant solution which meets performance requirements. Analyzes technology environment and assesses customer project needs. Present technical papers and create technical content for social media and marketing needs in the form of case studies or technical notes. Participate in technical and/or standards committees. Supports Marketing function in developing functional requirements as per evolving regional market needs. Serves as liaison between marketing and product managers. Provide competitors capability analysis. Provide trainings for technology partners and value-added resellers. Develop prototype solutions and demonstrate Eaton solutions on premises or through virtual sessions. #LI-ID1 Qualifications Are you? Required: Bachelor’s in Engineering Power Systems and or Software IT Automation 5-10 years of experience in Utility and /or C&I IT automation systems Technical knowledge of Automation, Cybersecurity, SCADA systems, Distributed Control Systems and Telecommunication Analytics Solid technical knowledge with strong communications, agile learner skills. Team player with technical writing and presentation. Then we want to hear about you!
