Solution Architect (m/f/x) - Innovation Center / AI Product

In their quest to becoming a leading digital force, the organisation is currently reshaping standards for the entire automotive service industry by launching and scaling a state-of-the-art innovation hub in Berlin.

Their first flagship product leverages Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, and Big Data to automate a core process for automotive OEMs and reboot decision-making around claims management. The bold vision for the center is to not just accelerate innovation for their partners but to continuously enlarge their own digital product offerings. 

They are undergoing significant expansion and are looking for you to join as the Solution Architect (m/f/x) for the Berlin innovation center to take the customization and integration of the sophisticated AI Platform with the most influential global OEMs to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as a key point-of-contact between top OEM clients and the company to deliver the product implementation/integration on quality, time and budget
• Owning the solution and the ultimate success from pre-sales to PoC until Implementation/Integration
• Creating effective and trustworthy relationships between the company and customers
• Continuously liaising with external customers and internal company stakeholders to define the solution scope and requirements housed within a systematic collaboration framework
• Steering solution development, keeping track of both technical and non-functional requirements
• Closely collaborating with key stakeholders in Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Integration
• Developing a profound expertise of the company’s platform as well as broad know-how around how to integrate with customers’ systems and applications
• Acting as the solution architecture thought-leader, facilitating the development and improvement of processes and methodology while also driving the sharing of best-practices 

Key Requirements

• Experience in Software, Solution, and/or Data Architecture 
• Thorough software engineering experience ideally in JVM language
• Sound knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to business & customer stakeholders
• Compelling stakeholder management skills - both within the company and on client-side
• Product and business mindset paired with a consultative approach, being able to offer a holistic solution to the client
• Ideally, experience in architecting complex, data-heavy solutions e.g. streaming/message/service-based architecture, event-sourcing, CQRS
• Passion to stay up-to-date on the latest tech trends & developments
