Eaton’s North American Financial Services Division is currently seeking a Solution Design & System Integration Lead to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, Ohio location. Position Overview: The Solution Design & System Integration Lead serves as a key role in Eaton’s current Digitization and transformation strategy. This position will be responsible for leading the end-to-end project lifecycle for the deployment of technology and data systems within the Procure to Pay (PTP) workstream focusing on the integration of boundary systems connecting to the centralized Finance ERP systems including Oracle R12 and SAP. This Techno-Functional role will lead and manage large-scale, long-term global system integration projects such as new systems transitioning into the Eaton network via M&A activity or other business partner initiatives while identifying opportunities to transform the current methods to optimize the end-to-end process for improved stakeholder experience and continued modernization of the existing infrastructure. This role will work closely with Finance leaders, GFSS workstreams, and IT project teams including developers to define requirements, assess current solutions, document design, oversee testing and defect resolution to drive deliverables to a successful implementation. As a solution design lead this role will collaborate with a global cross-functional team to analyze opportunities for process improvements and translate those into actionable value-add initiatives via technology, data, and automation in alignment with the global Finance data strategy and digitization efforts. In this function you will: You will leverage technical skills such as SQL and functional business knowledge to lead system integration activities for a global PTP stakeholder group including new systems via acquisitions and other strategic initiatives as well as assess opportunities and implement improvements to modernize existing system infrastructure. You will define, implement, and manage a framework for data quality and governance including internal ERPs, interfaces, and boundary systems. You will identify and implement opportunities for process automation including the documentation and measurement of expected benefits (ROI). You will support the implementation of a consolidated metrics (KPIs) reporting system resulting in transparent, measurable process management and coordinate with various teams to drive improvements in process efficiencies. You will act as a business partner between workstreams and cross-functional stakeholder groups (including Operations, Supply Chain, Tax, Treasury, etc.) for strategic process improvements, Intercompany optimization, and Working Capital initiatives. You will support initiatives to drive alignment of the Global Process between the SAP and Oracle systems. Over time this will expand to include SAP Hana S4. You will coordinate PTP Functional Team Members in the Oracle finance function for upgrade and implementation projects. Communicate project status for finance and own issue and risk closure. You will leverage technical knowledge to provide direction and escalation support to the functional PTP & IT Production Support team. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or IT systems required Minimum of seven years of finance, accounting, analytical or IT experience. Minimum of two years’ experience leading a team, project or function No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the geographic area will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree preferred. Previous experience with large software or reporting system implementations in a global environment preferred. Oracle, SAP or other financial ERP systems experience required with preference for Oracle and SAP. Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), databases, software development, system architecture, interfaces/APIs, and/or workflow automation. Position Criteria: Understanding of financial impact of transactions to the general ledger. Ability to build rapport across diverse global teams and stakeholder groups.
