Еngineering Center of ExCellence – Who are we? Do you know what Ritz Hotel in Paris, new terminal at Munich airport and European Parliament in Brussels have in common? The building automation of all of them was designed by Bulgarian Engineers who are part of Siemens Bulgaria Engineering Center of ExCellence (GECC). The portfolio of Engineering Center of ExCellence covers the full cycle of building technologies including PLC programming; graphic visualization and control through management station; most innovative systems for room automation; fire notification; access control etc. Engineering Center of ExCellence best records: Founded in 1998 with 3 engineers. So far more than 500 projects in more than 20 countries have been executed by our engineers who won over 30 cups in various sport competitions beside projects execution. We are currently looking for a new team member to join us in one of our offices across Bulgaria (Sofia, Plovdiv, Ruse), or remotely from a home office anywhere across the country. Area of responsibilities: Pre-sales & Sales Own technical part of bid preparation for Building Management System: solution design/architecture, effort estimates, scope of work, bill of material Technical consulting to sales team, customer visits, especially with complex projects Support sales team in Request for Information / Proposal evaluation by providing technical analyses and developing customer solution design & architecture. Perform technical risk evaluation for technical solution Influence technical mind-set of the customer during sales process, coordinating the technical part of a bid. Present solution design & architecture to customer, and implement adaptations if required Approve complex and first of its kind solution implementation, including risks evaluation Technical approval of bill of material validation for large or first of its kind projects Handle the communication with the 3rd party suppliers mainly when integration is required Engineering & remote support Commissioning Define Engineering guidelines to standardize processes enabling engineering and commissioning efficiency Optimize offered solutions to reduce risks, engineering mistake, commissioning problems Support in complex and first of its kind solution implementation Take care about cyber security topics inside the projects Support the technical implementation during the delivery phase Skills Bachelors/Master Degree in Engineering or related field are preferred At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the building automation industry Solid understanding of building automation solutions including Siemens Simatic S7 Understanding of building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, etc.) Good knowledge of systems and platforms integration and IT networks, as well as good understanding of industrial IoT and cloud platforms Ability to provide solution design & architecture creation and deployment Used to align with customers for requirements collecting and collaborate with technical and management layers Good communication skills in English.
