The Corporate Development Functional Area incorporates Strategic Development and Business Development and is involved in a number of areas across the business. The Strategic Development team are responsible for supporting major strategic direction of our organization, while Business Development leads work within the business units to define and implement successful local strategies. As a Solution Portfolio & Promotion, you will be part of the Business Function Digital Business and Business Function Digitalization Business Line, based in Beijing.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage various internal digitalization projects to support group functions, cross divisions and BUs in digital growth (e.g. success cases portfolio tool, internal cross-Div/BU sales app, market place solution portfolio extension).
  • Support coordination, development and update of industry segment specific portfolio overviews, solution architectures, value propositions for various customer segments by leveraging ABB resources, such as M&S and strategic programs.
  • Support solution portfolio gap analysis at business and technical levels.
  • Support of Div/BU-lead customer meetings and internal workshops, e.g. via trainings and material.
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Working with businesses and other digital teams, manage the ABB digital solutions for China market, cross-business and industrial segment specific portfolios.
  • Manage the solution catalog in various dimensions for the needs of customers, sales and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the localization of global digital solutions to China platform & market.
  • Setup a mechanism for a regular digital solutions introduction and promotion to China business, with the support of strategic partners, digital solution delivery teams in local and global.
  • Drive the awareness and availability of ABB digital solutions in businesses and sales organizations.
  • Support solution portfolio gap analysis.
  • Plan and organize training to internal and external stakeholders on ABB’s digital strategy, roadmap, portfolio and solutions and technologies.
  • Organize or support external event in promoting ABB digital solutions/vision.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
