We are looking for a Solution Specialist to join us in the Culture and Learning solution area, being responsible for solutions in the area of HR Operations. Inter IKEA Group is implementing a new business solution: Workday, across its organisations (group functions and the core businesses; Franchise, Range & Supply and Industry). The solution specialist will play a key role in this work.

As a Solution Specialist - HR Operations, your main stakeholders are the Workday solution owner, your super user network with HR professionals and the many users of the solution worldwide. You lead the operation of the business solutions assigned to you, improving and amplifying the co-worker experience.

More things you can expect to do in this role:

  • Be responsible for the configuration in Workday for a subset of the following HR processes: Business Process Administration, HR Administration, HR Organisation Administration, Security Administration, Absence Administration, Compensation Administration, Payroll Interface Administration, Reporting.
  • Operate and improve the solution management processes, including communication, change requests, alignment of ways of working and functional support
  • Provide training offer to increase user's competence
  • Validate new functionality and designs for the development and user experience improvements
  • Work closely together with others across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer

When you start working in this role the focus will be on a fluent implementation of Workday.

About you
You have worked in HR and have good knowledge of HR operational processes, you’re familiar with HR jargon and you are interested to work (more) with IT. You have strong people skills, which enable you to easily engage with many different people, both in person and remotely. You want to help and support our co-workers to the best of your ability, while at the same time you’re able to say no and explain the “why” in case any requests cannot be granted. You’re a do-er, you get things done. You want to lead your own agenda and your own development. You are more interested in a long term improvement than in a short term fix. You’re curious to dig deeper, analyse data and structurally solve and prevent problems.

What’s more? You have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of working experience in a similar role. It would be highly appreciated if you have experience working with Workday and NGA (payroll solution). You have technical knowledge and perhaps even technical skills to work with SQL, Python, SnapLogic, QlikSense and system integrations.

A few more details for you
The position is for 40 hours per week and is based in Delft, the Netherlands or Älmhult, Sweden. You will report to the Solution Manager in BSA Culture and Learning.
A behavioural assessment will be part of the recruitment process.
