Siemens Smart Infrastructure is currently searching for an experienced Solutions Sales Manager to lead sales and business development activities for Australia and New Zealand. As the Solution Sales Manager, you will ensure a healthy sales pipeline, build relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive the business strategy. If you are in search of high-growth tech exposure and would enjoy working as the face of a brand through establishing and developing partner relations — this role is for you! The successful applicant will be required to deliver the solutions business strategy in terms of local developments, business planning according to country parameters, establishing and leading a culture of excellence within the organisation and ensure alignment of and adherence to practices and activities with local legislation and global guidelines and processes. You will also be required to develop and execute innovative growth strategies and foster customer networks and relationships. This is a key role within the Siemens Smart Infrastructure business, and demands an individual who has a positive, energetic, motivational, and collaborative attitude. You will lead a culture of ownership, with our people and the customer at the core. Key responsibilities in the role will be: * Overall leadership and ownership of all Solution Sales within RMA AUNZ * Work with the Branch Leadership Team to ensure Sales processes are well integrated and transparent across the business * Manage the key KPIs in Solution Sales – funnel size, CRM data quality, accurate budgeting and forecasting * Work with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to develop a transparent and robust funnel of opportunities to support Branch financial commitments * Support BDMs to ensure CRM data is accurate from a quality and timeliness perspective. Reviews CRM data regularly * Support BDMs with customer engagement where and when necessary * Provide support to Branch Commercial Manager to forecast New Orders from Solutions * Work with the Engineering Head and Operations Head during the sales phase to ensure that solutions can be delivered as per project estimate * Ensure the successful handover of opportunity by BDM to Branch Engineering and Operations teams once projects are won * Provide input to SI Competitiveness initiatives through market information gained from close customer relationships * Work across Branch South/North to standardize Sales innovations and improvements across AUNZ business. * Work with DSC and EPS to integrate offerings into Solutions * Develop strategies to secure and expand customer base e.g. which customers to target, how and by whom * Work collaboratively with the broader SI Sales community to offer whole SI Portfolio into Solution opportunities * Foster relationships with external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and value chain, to influence the perception of Siemens. Understands industry perception of Siemens and works to proactively position the company as a market leader in Technology and Solutions. * Engage in industry to identify potential new talent and represent Siemens as a favorable employer to attract talent. * Drive positive culture and one of continuous improvement, in line with RMA Purpose/Vision and Strategic Objectives To be considered for this role you will have several years of proven experience in selling complex solutions with the real estate technology or building controls technology environment, understanding the needs and language of the customer.
