Job Description

Manufacturing Technicians in Sort Test Technology Development STTD Die Sort perform functions associated with all wafer production including: Operations equipment maintenance process and training. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Preventive maintenance troubleshooting spares and sustaining can include use of microscope and probe repair
  • Improvement processes troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line and reviewing technological health and stability.
  • May be responsible for the buddy trainer and certifier levels and in charge of updating training manuals.
  • May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
  • Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.

The candidate must be willing but not limited to:

  • Perform physical tasks associated with equipment repair detailed visual inspection and standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Work a compressed work week 12 hours per shift.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills/traits:

  • Judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences .

Minimum qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess Associate of Science degree in either Microelectronics or Electronic Engineering Technology or Computer Electronic Engineering Technology or any related or technology field or Bachelor's degree or mechanical or technical certification or related semiconductor manufacturing with 6+ months experience or equivalent military industry training
