Role Summary

Sr. Sourcing Specialist, with minimum supervision, to develop sourcing strategy for responsible product categories. He/She executes global product roadmap and supports product development and commercialization process with other function team. He/She, with minimum supervision, to lead contract and pricing negotiation to deliver best business terms and cost to support responsible categories.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Strategy and Vendor Management

?Work with Line manager to formulate sourcing strategy for responsible product categories and deliver business budgets

?Work with Line manager to identify, develop and foster core vendor partnerships to support business requirements

?Lead YBR to drive vendor performance

?Build and manage vendor pool to support current and future business needs

?Optimize vendor evaluation, selection and performance management process

Project Management

?Support SCM manager/vendor captain to manage/monitor overall schedule to drive SKU commercialized on time in Asia

?Collaborate with other function team to identify functional key milestones and develop plans to meet these key milestones

?Proactively identify any potential obstacles/road blocks and take all appropriate steps including escalation

Contract and Cost Management

?Work with Line manager to negotiate new and maintain existing contracts

?Lead cost negotiation for responsible product categories

?Collaborate with PM and Technical team to drive continuous product cost down effort

Capability Building and Process Implementation/Improvement

?Work with line manager to improve/elevate sourcing capabilities.

?Support new process implementation.

?Identify process improvement opportunities.

?Initiate and facilitate process improvement implementation.

Key Requirements

Education

Bachelors Degree (4 year)

International Trade, Business Management,etc

Experience

5 or more years of direct sourcing, merchandising and vendor management experiences. Education related industry background is a plus

?Passionate in new technology and product development.

?Good business sense

?Good interpersonal and communication skills

?Good critical thinking ability

?Good analytical and problem-solving skill

?3 or more years project management experience

?Effective written and oral communication both in English and Chinese.

?Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

?Ability to work in foreign environments.

?Immediate available is highly preferred.
