Eaton’s PSD division is currently seeking a Sourcing Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro Facility. The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for Identify, initiate, qualify and manage cost reduction activities by identifying supplier consolidation / localization / resourcing and alternative vendors who can offer operational benefits/savings, with no compromise on quality and services. Some activities related with the position will be: Working with users on alternative materials, supplies and services for overall cost and productivity improvement. Perform and lead sourcing, negotiation, specification and contract review, supplier audit, review of project status and supplier feedback for assigned sourcing project, and smooth/flawless ramp up/down for production. Manage inventory levels with planning function through timely release of purchase order, close monitoring of delivery, expediting and effective supplier communication during project handover period Analyze periodically raw material and supplies market conditions, provide input and alternatives on cost reduction and manage cost inflation. Perform good communication and relationship with cross function and suppliers. Manage & update project status, EC’s and supplier profile. Report and drive cost out results through forecasting and coordinate with related functions to perform project on time completion and timely action to avoid risks during the project implementation period. Maintain clear and effective supplier development procedures through reviews and revisions to requirements (ISO, internal procedures, legal,etc).
