Sourcing Lead The primary purpose of this role is to manage EMEA Direct and Indirect Material Cost Out and provide strategic and operational sourcing support to the EMEAI Crouse-Hinds sites, working with suppliers and key stakeholders. Key member of the EMEA va/ve steering committee Essential Functions: • Manage Direct and Indirect Material Cost out for Crouse-Hinds EMEA • Drive VAVE events, particularly for the key direct material categories (electronics, electrical deves and resins and plastics) • Conduct regular IDB events with the suppliers and the key stakeholders to identify material cost out opportunities • Ensure close collaboration with Engineering, Site Procurement, Global Commodity Managers, Finance and CI Team • Drive spend consolidation and lead negotiation with the suppliers to achieve Sourcing Cost Out • Utilize best cost sourcing model, Should Cost Analysis, creates and implement procurement strategies • Maintain GPS and CODB data accuracy in alignment with the Supply Chain procedures and training guides • Manage project team members to ensure on time project execution • Support Cost Out validation, ensure alignment with Finance and provide monthly reports • Manage PPV, MCER Inflation to required levels • Support Price Increases and urgent material shortages, where required by business • Developing and maintaining relationships with key strategic suppliers and evaluating performance relating to delivery, cost and quality • Contributes to the implementations of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Supply Chain and Six Sigma methodology.
