Job Description

Responsibility


1. Conduct market research and competitor analysis for specific product categories


2. Develop and execute the product sourcing strategy for the assigned category with ownership on the performance in terms of supplier’s QDCRT (quality, delivery, cost, response, technical support)


3. Drive continuous improvement in total cost reduction


4. Drive product development process in collaboration with suppliers & internal stakeholders, from portfolio phase until market exit

Coaches, motivates and develops direct reports

Primary Responsibilities:

1.Projects Follow-Ups

Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders & suppliers to execute the whole process effectively and efficiently including RFQ follow up, price analysis, sampling, product development, commercial negotiation, etc

2.Cost saving

Identify and provide year on year cost savings through developing alternatives, enhance efficiency, negotiation and value engineering activities etc

3.Supplier Management

Provide Monthly/Annual report of purchase spend and supplier scorecard analysis in order for managing the suppliers in right priority

4.Improve supplier's delivery performance with Quality/ENG assistance



Develop and execute sourcing strategy and Improve supplier relationship

Provide assistance as for quality/production issues by means of driving supplier's execution on the corrective action plan and policies/procedures



5.Commercial

Source new product and new supplier to meet business needConduct supplier commercial assessment


Responsible for commercial discussion with supplier such as NDA, tooling agreement, payment term, lead time, delivery term etc

Others

Coach, motivate and develop direct reports

Required Qualifications

1.Bachelor Degree qualified in a business-related discipline.


2.At least 12 years of progressive experiences in supply management, familiar with multiple material manufacturing 3.processes or supplier bases (flatware, dinnerware, cookware, drinkware ), including 3-year team management experience


4.Good communication, strong commercial sense and analytical skill


5.Related working experience in an well-known multinational corporation is a plus


6.Familiar with US retailing market/Mass merchants is a plus


7.Good team player, a high sense of responsibility with result-oriented mindset


8.Well-developed written and verbal skills in English

9.Good computer software skill in MS office, SAP Knowledge


10.Willingness and ability to travel ( domestic and international )


Preferred:

Experience in flatware, dinnerware, cookware, drinkware industry as sourcing/purchasing

Cross functional project management experience


Required to travel by car, air, train up to 15% of the time; domestic and international
