Sourcing Manager

Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Commodity management; Drive value-added commodity business plans and sourcing strategies for assigned commodities
- Supplier management; Lead commercial interface, negotiations and establishment of master service agreements with key suppliers
- Business unit support; Support commercial needs of business units as relating to commodities and suppliers as assigned
- Monitor supplier performance and action plans in key Procurement pillars to include; Value add/productivity, Delivery, Quality and Technology
- Project management; Drive projects as both project leader and/or member supporting Strategic priorities of Growth, People and Execution
- Promote ON values through actions and promote positive image of Procurement image with internal and external partners
- Become market expert for commodities or technologies assigned supporting Global Strategic sourcing group
Requirements:
Ability to handle significant multi-tasking requirements simultaneously and to prioritize on key actions
- Action oriented with ability to deliver results that make significant progress on strategic initiatives
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or sometimes direction on specific what task needs to be accomplished
- Ability to prepare and effectively communicate strategy with multi-functional business partners (Technology, Quality, MFG, SC Planning/Ops)
- BS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or other business/marketing from an accredited university is required.
- MBA and/or a CPM certificate are preferred.
- Fluency (written and oral) in English required; additional language(s) would be an additional benefit.
- Candidates from the semiconductor, contract manufacturing and/or high tech industries are preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience, with 5+ preferred
- Must be willing to travel domestic and international up to 25%
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Prefer Engineering or Business,
- Supply Chain & Procurement experience beneficial,
- Assembly & Test experience or BE product packaging experience beneficial
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- 3-5 yrs experience
- Ability to work independently with US based mgt team (such as late or early calls)
- Fluent in English
