Job Description
We are European company from origin and based with our sourcing office in Shanghai Pudong near the financial district of Lujiazui. Our customers buy different materials/products from all over China and depending on their needs we offer a tailored service ranging from sourcing to quality control to product development.
JOB SUMMARY
1) Supplier Preferred Programs
2) Sourcing & Cost Avoidance Savings
3) Process improvement
KEY RESULT AREAS & JOB ACTIVITIES /TASKS
Position Purpose:
1) Provide sourcing leadership for all phases of sourcing process:
- Project identification and team start-up
- Data collection (internal and external and analysis)
- Option development, strategy review and recommendation
- Implementation: including supplier selection, contracting and negotiation and internal process
Changes
- Supplier management
2) Develop overall supply strategy for commodity and its sub-commodity component parts.
3) Represent Sourcing function for specific category and the market place.
4) Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and other sourcing coworkers to ensure strategy
Supports policy, required service level platforms and delivers maximum economic value.
5) Benchmark industry best practices.
6) Establish customer satisfaction for supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
7) Achieve agreed savings and process improvement targets.
8) Familiar with factory audit and production inspections.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
1) Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree preferred.
2) Industry experience of 5-10 years in purchasing area.
3) Experience in working within a dynamic team environment.
4) Chinese and English language competency required.

quality negotiating plan.
