We are now seeking a Sourcing Manager in Hong Kong, this role will be the lead sourcing representative at Asia in ACCO’s Electrical and Mechanical Goods.

Job Description:
In close collaboration with Global Product, Supply Chain, Product Development, Quality Assurance and Compliance, the accountabilities of this position include:

• Primary interface with suppliers for relationship management, establish business framework, performance review, business development and supplier business award program.
• Develop and execute on an annual category cost savings target.
• Implement costed BOMs as a methodology for managing product cost and second tier materials.
• Responsible for implementation/execution of long term sourcing strategy for ACCO designed products.
• Generate and work with data to improve decision making, strategy and performance
• Manage supply base by driving and conducting regular vendor performance review to meet the needs of fast growing activities of company.
• Coordinate sourcing strategies and ensure smooth and timely manufacturing ramp on new introduction programs in Electrical and Mechanical Goods category.
• Establish and manage long term suppliers’ relationship to support ACCOS’s business growth.
• Ensure material sourcing contributes to success of business and suppliers are selected based on overall cost effectiveness and ability to support ACCO’s requirements.
• Support “Off-the-shelf” sourcing projects as required.
• Work closely with global teams to manage internal business relationships and gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements.
• Achieve significant cost saving through proactive and creative sourcing approaches as well as leveraging current supply base

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree supply chain, engineering, business or a related field required (Mechanical engineering background will be added advantage)
• Minimum 10 years of strategic sourcing experience (office product sourcing experience will be added advantage)
• Sound knowledge with USA and Europe electrical appliances safety and compliance
• Excellent communication, negotiation with proven track records and project management skills required
• Good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and writing

• Must be able to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and drive for results
• Must be hands-on, detailed and possess good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Be able to work under the big pressure
• Willing to accept short-term overseas assignment if required.
• Must be able to travel (approximately 80%)
