Job Description
Purpose
- lead a sourcing team and activities in Greater China and North Asia
Main responsibilities
- lead a sourcing organization and/or activities related to a portfolio of commodities and countries
- make sure all buyers under his/her responsibility follow Orange's sourcing methodology and processes in their sourcing initiatives
- coach and support buyers as appropriate on Orange's sourcing process and strategy definition
- develop and promote specific sourcing expertise and know-how and formalize intellectual capital
- set up a fruitful and relationship with the relevant Business Units linked to his/her scope
- act as the 'Sourcing Business Partner' for the Business Units for his/her commodities
- elaborate and agree on the demand plan with the relevant Business Units in charge
- ensure the sourcing initiatives and outcomes (contract elaboration, pricing improvement,...) are clearly and immediately communicated to relevant Business Units
- develop and promote suppliers and competitors market intelligence and analysis
- study and monitor supplier market and market trends, identify and leverage new suppliers and improvement opportunities (additional levers)
- contribute with his/her team to Supplier Relationship Management and Partnership Governance activity
- focus with his/her team on continuous improvement of sourcing practice and tools
- manage his/her team according to Orange management principles and foster cross working with other sourcing teams
about you
- Proven track record in sourcing, in particular enterprise and wholesale data and voice services, in Greater China and North Asia
- Ability to work and negotiate in an international and multi-cultural environment internally and externally
- Experience in managing a team
- Structured, detail oriented and results driven person
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
