We are looking for a sourcing manager based on site in Guangzhou to coordinate our sourcing and product-development activities in China

Key Responsibilities

>> Research, assessment and training of new suppliers
>> Assist our sales and product-development team in the development of new products by finding and closely managing our supplier
>> Quality Controls of the final products

Skills & Qualifications

>> At least 3-4 years working experience in a sourcing- or trading-company– ideally dealing with bags, packaging products, displays or toys for the European or US market
>> Detail- and result-oriented with the ability to multi-task and take the right decisions in an independent manner
>> Able to quickly learn new production processes and build material know-how
>> Fluency in Mandarin and English – written and spoken
>> Well-organized and reliable
>> Willingness to travel inside China (about 10 days / month)
>> Decisive and firm when dealing with suppliers
>> Willingness to build and share knowledge in a team
>> Independent and solution-oriented – since you often communicate with your team members via phone or email you need the experience and
confidence to solve problems and find solutions by yourself
