Responsibility

• Work closely with sales teams, designers and technical teams in transforming design ideas into bulk production.
• Ensure buy confirmation is completed within expected time frame, leverage systems, automate where possible, and reduce back and forth communication
• Cross check critical data points in an efficient manner to guarantee that correct information is passed to peers for purchase order issuance/management
• Maintain master record of forecast, fabric commit, and buy quantities for analysis and validation purposes
• Manage a product life cycle from development, cost negotiation, commercialization to production.
• Identify and tackle potential technical issues during development stage.
• Order follow up, resolve production issues and ensure on time delivery.
• Monitoring, review and evaluate vendor performance
• Work with Technical, QA and Mill management team to ensure all commercial decision and standards are met
• Resolve issues within a timely manner while working to continuously improve and create internal and external processes and procedures
• Both Quality ensurance, Sourcing experience would be highly needed.

Requirement

• A minimum of 5-year related experience in Supply Chain/ Operations, sourcing and product development, particularly for US and EU markets.
• Sufficient product knowledge and understanding of relevant manufacturing processes.
• Well organized, systematic, strong analytical and problem solving skills, can work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Excel and other MS applications.
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sufficient communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Self-motivation, work effectively under pressure.
• Work place based in Hong Kong, willing to travel to other Asian countries for sourcing and quality control purpose.
