BASIC FUNCTION

？ To achieve the highest level of quality for the best total cost for the materials, components, supplies, and services required for the Group/Company.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

？ Responsible for new material and vendor development, identify qualified suppliers to execute sourcing activities.

？ Proceed with vendor facility audit and evaluation for the supply of all needed materials/components with SQE and NPD/MPD for Kitchen cabinets and wardrobe.

？ Responsible for price negotiation, contracts and cost saving for responsible materials/components.

？ Work with Material planners and vendors to ensure PO are delivered on time, coordinate issues in purchasing order processing and follow up delivery status.

？ Work with SQE and vendors to ensure good quality for needed materials/components according to Kohler requirements.

？ Analyze material demand and requirements to initiate sourcing activities.

？ Ensure the compliance with Kohler policies and procedures in all relevant works.

？ Manage relationships with vendors , drive continuous improvements in terms of cost, delivery, quality and responsiveness.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

？ Report to Purchasing Manager.

？ Frequent contact with the material planning, Quality, Engineering, Product, Warehousing, Marketing and Industrial Design staff.

？ External contacts with vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

？ University graduate.

？ Commercial sense is a must. Experience in cost analysis is preferred.

？ Good business ethic and integrity. Basic legal knowledge.

？ Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

？ Frequent travel is required.

？ At least 5 years relevant experience in furniture purchasing. Multinational company working experience is preferred.

？ Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and IE. Good command in English writing and reading.
